NAPELA wishes to express its thanks and appreciation to all its supporters, friends and sympathizers for their support over the years. Our achievements speak to our commitment to our mission and a reflection of our transparency and accountability. 
NAPELA is a non-profit local grass root organization with a 501 C (3) status. Its mission is tailored toward improving the livelihood of immigrant women and families. Our approach to achieving our objective is robust and unique, incorporating the immigrant cultural values and the American values through its adult learning program and cultural orientation program meanly for our youth population. Our programs over the years have been very successful, yielding very high results. Today, we are very proud of more than ten (10) participants in our adult learning program who successfully passed the US Citizenship requirements and are now bona fide American citizens. Thanks to the Staten Island Legal aid service team for their contribution and commitment to this process. We also wish to recognize in a special way, the hard work and commitment of the Wagner College students who made a great impact on our participants. In view of the demand for our participation in the growth and sustainability of the community, we are looking forward to upgrading our services to the community which will accommodate a youth development initiative unit that will reflect NAPELA’S continued concern for the families.
